Continental Knitting, Saturday, August 14, 2010
August 11, 2010
The two most popular ways to knit are English style, known as throwing, and German (or Continental) style, known as picking. The resulting stitch is identical with both styles. Picking has the advantage of saving time and motion when changing frequently from knit to purl on the same row, as for ribbing or seed stitch.
Throwers are invited to this free class to try picking. Join us this Saturday anytime between 10 am and 2 pm.
