Sheep humor

May 29, 2007

Why was the sheep such a nervous passenger? Because the driver was a sheep at the wheel.

Why did the sheep refuse to change direction? Because the sign said, “No Ewe Turns.”

Why are sheep such poor spellers? Because they are always trying to pull the wool over their i’s.

Why do sheep love the springtime? Because it is the season of shear delight.

Why did the sheep cross the road? We really don’t know.

Dream in Color

May 28, 2007

“Veil dyed superwash” is how the Dream in Color people describe their 100% merino hand dyed yarn. Classy knits at 4.5 stitches per inch and Smooshy is ideal for socks at 6.5 to 8 stitches per inch. The veil dyeing process means that Dream in Color works up without any unintended patterning or pooling of color. We think this will make it the perfect choice for our next pair of socks, the Bellocq Stocking, from the Stitch Diva.
