Crochet Mesh Cowl

Saturday, March 19

Ongoing demos between 10:30 am and 2 pm

Free workshop

Teacher:  Paula

Enjoy a quick crochet romp through one of our new spring yarns and you’ll soon be wearing your cowl with a built in twist.

You’ll use scrap yarn to work a mini version of the chainless first row and join into round with a moebius twist.

Once you are past this point, it’s just one long continuous spiral of chain one, double crochet in the next big space to the end.

Solomon’s Knot Cowl

Saturday, March 26

10am to 2:30pm

$40 plus supplies

Registration required

Teacher:  BJ Licko-Keel

Enjoy a precision crochet project with fine tuned details that are a feature of all BJ patterns. Choose from a variety of DK and light worsted weight yarns to create a spring cowl with just a touch of warmth for this transitional time of year.  Solomon’s Knot is a beautiful vintage stitch pattern that uses an extended single crochet to create an airy, open look..  You’ll control the height of the stitch to create shape in your cowl and a crocheted bead to stabilize the center of the stitch.

Adventurous crocheters will find this to be a quick and easy project.
